Q: How do I know which kit to purchase?
A: Contact one of our service advisors over the phone or via email. Tell us the make, model, and year of your vehicle, and any special needs you have, and we will be able to craft the perfect package for you.

Q: What's the best way to get in and out of my car?
A: If your vehicle has two doors, we recommend that you back into the car, and exit facing forward. If your vehicle is a four-door model, you have the choice of getting into it by backing in through the front door, or by going straight in through the back passenger door. Exiting the vehicle can be done the same way, whichever you prefer.

Q: Why can't I have the conversion done on a convertible?
A: Safety concerns limit us in the availability of our products. See Safety and Available Models for more details.

Q: I had a TaurTek kit installed in my car and it broke. What do I do?
A: Don't drive the car (if possible), until it is repaired. TaurTek kits come with a 5-year warranty on parts and labor, so contact a service advisor to find a dealer near you for repairs.

Q: I want to have a TaurTek kit installed in my old car, but I don't want to permanently modify the body in any way. Is it possible to install the kit with all bolt-on parts?
A: In some cases, yes. Unfortunately, not many older vehicles can be converted without modifying at least some sheetmetal.

Q: Why do I need to wear my seat belt?
A: You should always wear your seat belt for a number of reasons. One, it's the law. Two, in case of an accident, you will be much safer if you are belted in. The airbag alone (if your car is equipped with them) is not enough to protect you from injury in a crash, and could actually make your situation worse.

Q: My car came stock with seating for four. Why do I get only two seats with the TaurTek kit?
A: Your kit came with only two seats for one very good reason: the stock seats in your car were built for use by humans. Your body is much bigger than that of a human, and you need the extra space to be be seated comfortably and safely in your car.

Q: I want to install my TaurTek kit myself. Can I do that?
A: It is possible to install the kit yourself, but we don't recommend it. Some parts of the installation procedure can potentially cause irreparable damage to your car or injury to you if done improperly. We do our installations at our dealer locations, using highly trained technicians who know what they're doing.

Q: I'm interested in working for TaurTek. How can I get a job with your company?
